Dreame H11 Wet/Dry Cleaner Overview: Cleans everything in one pass

Overview of the Dreame H11 vacuum cleaner

We all know Dreame company by its vertical vacuum cleaners and robot vacuum cleaners, but this time we managed to test a completely new model Dreame H11. A vacuum cleaner for dry and wet cleaning, which will replace your mop. Let's take a closer look at it.

Neat design

Dreame H11 is the very first wet and dry cleaning vacuum cleaner from Xiaomi's subsidiary, Dreame. This is obvious when you consider that Dreame is a specialized brand in the field of vacuum cleaners. Hence the idea to launch a vacuum cleaner of this type on the market in order to complement its range of cleaning equipment and compete with some brands already represented in this market.

In appearance, the Dreame H11 corresponds to the codes of vacuum cleaners for wet/dry cleaning and has the usual visual characteristics for this type of device. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a turbo brush, which is an integral part of the device and, in addition, comes packaged in two copies.

The Dreame H11 has two water tanks, each of which performs a specific role. The bottom tank collects cleaning waste, that is, used water, as well as dust, pet hair and everything else that interferes with the operation of the vacuum cleaner. It is larger than the second tank, and its useful capacity is 500 ml. If you remove the waste water tank, you will find that there is also a filter in it. As you can see, the filter is designed to prevent dirt from entering the tank, which can clog the vacuum cleaner and shorten its service life. Therefore, make sure that the filter is always with you when you use the Dreame H11. Moreover, the Dreame package includes a second filter in case the first one wears out or gets lost (you never know).

The upper tank is designed for clean water. Included with Dreame H11 is a detergent for different surfaces, which will need to be added to clean water little by little. The tank holds 900 ml (in reality closer to a liter) and can be used for surfaces up to 160 m2.

Next, the Dreame H11 has an LED screen that displays the control panel necessary for the operation of the device. Using this control panel, you can monitor the battery status, the selected cleaning mode and error messages (brush error, water tank condition and clogged suction tube).

Finally, to complete the introduction to the Dreame H11, we would like to use its handle, which also has a pleasant grip. With its help, you can not only control the vacuum cleaner, but also turn on the device, switch modes and clean the brush thanks to the automatic cleaning function.

Easy to use

Dreame H11 is easy to use and very intuitive. You don't need to be a high-tech genius to understand how it works.

When you unpack the vacuum cleaner, you will need to collect everything. The body of the vacuum cleaner and the handle. At the same time, you do not need to screw anything, as in some models of vacuum cleaners. A simple click is enough to put everything together.

The Dreame H11 vacuum cleaner is designed to work right out of the box, so it's easy to get used to. However, we recommend connecting it to the dock to charge it as much as possible and make the most of the 30-minute battery life.

After you have filled the tank with clean water and detergent, simply press the power button to start the vacuum cleaner. Please note that the Dreame H11 has a parking position that holds the device in an upright position, so it cannot be used at the moment. To start it, you need to tilt the device. There are two modes - Eco and Max, each of which changes the brush rotation speed and suction power depending on the condition of the floor being cleaned (for example, hard-to-remove stains will be cleaned faster in Max mode).

The Dreame H11 is a wet cleaning vacuum cleaner, but it can also be used as a vacuum cleaner. As we have already mentioned about the filter, it can suck up dust, hair, pet hair, pasta, etc., as well as liquids such as sauce, water and more. But be careful not to clog the suction tube, and avoid sucking in heavy dirt. Otherwise, the vacuum cleaner will warn you about it.

Efficient service

The Dreame H11 vacuum cleaner is very easy to maintain on a daily basis. After using the vacuum cleaner, it is enough to empty the waste water tank and rinse it with water. Of course, be careful not to pour the solid part into the sink (for drains), but into the trash can. Unless you have a sink drain filter.

Dreame H11 has an automatic cleaning function. To do this, put the vacuum cleaner on the charging station (at least in an outlet) and hold the top button on the handle. We recommend doing this before emptying the dirty water tank, as the vacuum cleaner uses a scraper system that removes dirt from the brush and then sucks it back into the tank.

How to take care of a vacuum cleaner so that it lasts longer?

If you want to clean the Dreame H11 more thoroughly (which may be required from time to time), Dreame includes a brush in the package to access the suction tube. You can also remove the brush to clean the entire highlighted area.

In conclusion, we can say that the Dreame H11 fulfills its promises. The promise to remove dirt in one pass. This is not just a modern replacement for a mop, it also partially performs the functions of a conventional vacuum cleaner. Of course, it is not so versatile, but it is still very effective for cleaning surfaces. This is not unusual for floor-cleaning vacuum cleaners, but having two separate tanks is a nice touch, so you don't have to wash the floor with dirty water. And finally, we like that it is so inconspicuous, thanks to its simple design and a charging station that allows you to store it in an upright position.
